About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounting Governance Specialist to join our team at Charterhouse. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of accounting policies and procedures to support effective financial decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to our financial governance framework.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of financial objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on accounting standards and practices to support informed business decisions.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in accounting and financial governance, with a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A degree in accounting or a related field, and membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting association.
