Software Development Engineer

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and deliver high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a key role in defining the technical direction of our cloud storage solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and identify dependencies for product development.
  • Develop design documents and implement coding standards to ensure maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Work closely with project managers and other engineers to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook.
  • Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with file storage or distributed systems.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
