About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in the Pinkenba region. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating manual lathes and milling machines, manufacturing and refurbishing hydraulic cylinders and engineering components, and interpreting engineering drawings and using measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual lathes and milling machines to manufacture and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and engineering components
  • Interpret engineering drawings and use measuring tools to ensure accurate and precise work
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manual Machinist who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Trade Qualified (Fitter and Machinist)
  • Experience in the operation of manual lathes and milling machines
  • Experience in machining hydraulic cylinder components
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances
  • Committed to safety and quality
