This academic position is part of our School's mission to produce high-quality research and educational programs in sport and exercise science.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, and a PhD or near completion in clinical exercise physiology or a related field.

  • Design and deliver engaging teaching and clinical supervision across areas such as Clinical Exercise Medicine, Musculoskeletal and Occupational Conditions, Metabolic and Other Clinical Conditions, and Professional and Interprofessional Practice.

Key responsibilities include contributing to innovative course design, developing high-quality assessments, and delivering teaching in various formats, from lectures and labs to online learning.

Additionally, they will grow their research profile through collaboration with colleagues, industry partners, and consumers, supporting the School's vision for excellence in education, research, and clinical practice.

The successful candidate will be eligible for membership and professional accreditation with a relevant professional body as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.

They must also have experience teaching at the tertiary level, including face-to-face, blended, and fully online teaching.

As a practising accredited exercise physiologist and clinical educator, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with industry partners and consumers.
