Job Title: Senior Project Finance Manager
About This Role:We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Senior Project Finance Manager. In this key position, you will play a vital role in supporting the creation of high-quality journalism.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to editorial leaders, providing clear and actionable financial insights.
- Manage and control the entire Editorial cost base, with a focus on staff and content-related expenses.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for all editorial cost centers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A strong background in finance or commercial accounting, including a degree and/or CA/CPA qualification.
- Proven business partnering skills, including the ability to build trust and translate financial concepts for non-finance teams.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in core financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
Experience in media/publishing, managing staff costs, and using systems such as D365, TM1, SAP, or Tableau is highly desirable.
