Financial Accounting Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly income statements and other reporting requirements for local Controllers.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities and processes, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Manage reporting, upload, complete, and validate in line with corporate and group reporting timelines.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including all sub-ledgers, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Support the preparation of local unit budgets, providing insightful financial guidance.
  • Provide day-to-day accounting and commercial support for unit operations, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Prepare information for lodgement with local authorities (e.g., company tax, VAT/indirect tax, payroll tax, FBT).
  • Assist with audits and local statutory compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Act as the local contact point for business-related financial accounting topics, offering expert guidance and support.
About You:
  • Proven experience in month-end reporting and reconciliations, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel; experience with OneStream or Anaplan a plus, enhancing your skill set.
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements, allowing you to navigate complex regulations.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with local and international stakeholders (finance, operations, HR, auditors, and group teams), adapting to diverse environments.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn, driving continuous improvement and growth.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments highly regarded, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
