Senior Pricing Data Specialist

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and deploying pricing data and algorithms in our systems. They will be responsible for preparing test plans, constructing test cases, and gaining a deep understanding of pricing data sources and manipulation logic.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of statistical and actuarial analysis into pricing systems, devising and implementing pricing processes within agreed time scales, and focusing on automation possibilities to gain efficiencies.
A strong customer focus will be adopted, with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships across teams. The individual will possess analytical skills to analyze data, identify key issues, develop solutions, and drive data-based decisions.
The candidate will need to be proficient in programming, development, and testing, with high-level Excel skills, problem-solving, numerical skills, and accuracy. Effective communication skills are also essential, both verbally and in writing.
Required technical skills include SAS Programming (Advanced Level), R Programming (Intermediate to Advanced Level), SQL (Advanced Level), and Excel and Dash boarding work (Intermediate).
