Pricing Analyst Role

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop, deploy and test pricing data and algorithms in pricing systems to drive informed decision-making.
    • Create test plans and construct test cases for pricing systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
    • Analyse pricing data sources, engineering, and manipulation logic to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Implement statistical and actuarial analysis into pricing systems to enhance performance.
    • Design and monitor pricing processes within agreed timelines to meet business objectives.
    • Evaluate automation possibilities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Develop a deep understanding of pricing infrastructure, including recommending changes to improve system performance.
  • Customer Focus:
    • Foster strong customer relationships across teams by delivering exceptional service and support.
    • Build trust with stakeholders by effectively communicating project scope and outcomes.
  • Key Capabilities:
    • Demonstrate analytical skills to identify key issues, develop solutions, and drive data-based decisions.
    • Possess proficiency in programming, development, and/or testing to deliver high-quality results.
    • Exhibit high-level Excel skills, problem-solving, numerical skills, and accuracy to manage complex data sets.
    • Cultivate strong communication skills to understand scope and relay solutions effectively.
    • Showcase ability to understand diverse infrastructure technologies and complex systems in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Qualifications:
    • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Actuarial, Analytics, or related field.
    • Possess minimum 1-2 years of relevant technical experience to apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
