About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in a permanent full-time position. As a Fitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting, planned preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Perform minor installations and commissioning work as required.
  • Work in a professional, timely, and safe manner following all PepsiCo standards and procedures.
  • Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System; SAP PM.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and implementing improvements to maintenance work methods and procedures, as well as to plant and equipment, to improve machine availability, quality, and safety.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications to Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum (a Boiler Certificate advantageous).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding to solve problems using a systematic approach.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance within an FMCG food industry.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure.
  • A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training, and work on other shifts as required.
