Job Opportunity: Justice Officer

About the Role

The Justice Officer Stores and Finance team delivers services within prison facilities, primarily based at Loddon Prison & Middleton at Castlemaine. The role requires direct prisoner contact and supervision, and may involve weekend and public holiday work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Team Leader Stores and Finance, provide a range of Stores & Finance services including warehouse operations, finance support, purchasing, procurement, stock/inventory control, general prison/prisoner services administration and various other related duties.
  • Serve prisoners within prisoner shops/canteens, while being responsible for direct supervision of prisoner workers, ordering and receipting of stock, maintenance of minimum stock levels and shop lists, security of shop stock, stocktaking and stock-control, record keeping and ensuring the shop is clean and in good order.
