As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement resident care plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals
- Address family and carer requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Apply expertise in aged care documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident care and outcomes
- Supervise and enhance the performance of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Identify training needs for clinical and care staff, working collaboratively with the Residential Manager to develop and implement training programs
- Ensure adherence to aged care standards and regulations
- AHPRA Registration
- 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting
- Strong planning and coordination skills in care delivery
- Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes care
- Sound understanding of medication systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
