Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Career Counsellor or Career Development Trainer to join our team in Launceston. As an Employability Skills Trainer, you'll play a vital role in delivering training programs that enable individuals to secure employment and improve their wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote APM's Employability Skills Training program and build relationships with local employers and community organisations
- Support and guide participants in identifying their skills and abilities, and develop career development plans to secure employment
- Organise, plan, implement, and facilitate training programs to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve great results and make a lasting impact on the lives of others
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desired)
