**Role Description**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team and deliver high-quality training programs in Early Childhood Education and Care. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate learning and assessment strategies, work collaboratively with key stakeholders, and contribute to the success of our organisation.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver training programs as set out by Asuria RTO and in accordance with relevant contractual and compliance requirements. This includes:

  • Delivering and assessing accredited training, including CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, units of competency, and skill sets from within the ECEC Training Package.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing support and guidance to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience. Providing onsite, face-to-face support with students to support their personal learning and completion.
  • Conducting Workplace Visits and Assessments of students within various workplace settings.

**Key Accountabilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting on individual student progression within the portfolio of accredited training, identifying opportunities and developing initiatives to improve training program service offerings for both accredited and non-accredited courses, and working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.

**Selection Criteria**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector and demonstrated ability to administer efficient and innovative training.
  • Experience in the development, delivery, and evaluation of Learning and Assessment strategies.
  • An understanding of the national VET sector and how it relates to the national labour market.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (required).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including report writing as and when required.
  • Attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively use technology in the workplace and coordinate administrative requirements.
