Job Overview

The Commis Chef role is a vital position within our culinary team, supporting senior chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for hospitality and gastronomy.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with menu planning, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support senior chefs in menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies are available for service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present outlet or banquet menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques, including preparation of meats, seafood, starches, fruits, and vegetables, desserts.
  • Ensure that all service and brand standards are met while on duty.
  • Report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues.
Key Qualifications
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery.
  • 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for gastronomy and the art of creating unique and memorable dining experiences.
  • Working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP protocols.
