Bodriggy Brewing Co is a vibrant hospitality venue located in Abbotsford.

They are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Assistant Venue Manager at one of Melbourne's busiest brewpubs.

About the Business:

  • A fast-paced, large and multifaceted brewpub and music venue featuring 3 x bars including Stingray's Upstairs - a swish cocktail saloon; an iconic Front Bar and Take Away Shop; the main 13 meter long brewpub bar.
  • All beers are made in-house, including limited release beers.
  • A strong weekly music program features DJs, bands and bi-annual festivals to create an experience exceeding guest expectations.

We are open 7 days a week with a fully functioning kitchen serving quality Mexican cuisine with South American influences in a casual setting.

About the Role:

Assistant Venue Manager

You will work alongside an amazing team who have created a great working environment. We are hospo professionals who want to help develop and grow the next generation of staff within our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage team and guest satisfaction.
  2. Demonstrate good leadership qualities.
  3. Exceptional customer service standards.
  4. Resolve disputes and altercations in a calm and positive manner.
  5. Able to work quickly and efficiently in fast-paced situations.
  6. Experience in dealing with HR and OH&S & liquor licensing.
  7. Sound administrative and computer skills.
  8. An understanding of P&L's, weekly budgets, forecasting and COGS costing.
