Senior Clinical Expert

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Expert to deliver high-quality clinical services in a forensic setting.
About the Role:
- Providing expert-level assessments and interventions to service users with a primary focus on eligible forensic cohorts.
- Leveraging extensive practice experience in clinical work with high-risk clients, including risk assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventions.
- Driving quality audits of clinical practice and interventions to enhance program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of complex case assessments and offence-specific interventions, including group programs based on cognitive behavioural therapy.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to drive and embed a strong practice culture, focusing on quality improvement initiatives.
- Enhancing professional development for clinical staff, supervisors, and managers through individual support and coaching.
Requirements:
- A highly developed understanding of clinical work with high-risk clients, including risk assessment and therapeutic interventions.
- Expertise in undertaking risk assessments and delivering offence-specific interventions, including group programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative and operational considerations impacting clinical services in a forensic environment.
Qualifications:
- Registration as a Psychologist with the relevant governing body.
- AHPRA approved supervisor or membership of a recognised professional association, such as the Australian Association of Social Work or the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
