About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Edinburgh Health Centre, located 25km North of Adelaide. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients, developing and maintaining patient care plans, and liaising with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide co-ordinated patient management.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment of patients and co-ordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments.
- Develop and maintain patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
- A current Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time Post Graduate experience within the previous 5 years in a sexual and reproductive health nurse role (or part time equivalent).
- Authorised Cervical Screening Test (CST) Provider; CST Credential and Certification of the Credentialed Course for the appropriate State/Territory.
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
Edinburgh Health Centre is a state-of-the-art facility providing a range of healthcare services, including primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. The centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7.
