The role of Maintenance Facilities Labourer is responsible for ensuring the site facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards to support safe and efficient operations.
- Carrying out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of buildings, fixtures, and infrastructure.
- Performing preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to production.
- Supporting compliance with food safety, health & safety, and industry regulations.
- Assisting with general upkeep including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasks.
- Working collaboratively with other maintenance and operations staff to maintain a safe and efficient site.
- Routine Inspections and Maintenance: Ensure that all site facilities and infrastructure are regularly inspected and maintained to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment and facilities.
- Maintenance Requests: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from team members to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Compliance: Support compliance with food safety, health & safety, and industry regulations.
- General Upkeep: Assist with general upkeep tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and operations staff to maintain a safe and efficient site.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in building or facilities maintenance.
- Trade Skills: Knowledge of basic trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, refrigeration, or mechanical).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
