Product Security Expert Opportunity

We seek a highly skilled Product Security Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of the MQ-28 Program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with extensive experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations throughout the engineering development lifecycle. You will also have demonstrated experience in implementing Secure Development and Operations (SecDevOps) systems and processes to ensure secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.

You will be responsible for partnering with technical SMEs, solution architects and engineers to identify, prioritise, design and implement cyber security solutions to minimise vulnerability and maximise resiliency. You will also ensure that system and product designs align with industry standard cyber controls.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • A systems engineering background with extensive experience with security and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations throughout engineering development lifecycle.
  • Experience implementing Secure Development and Operations (SecDevOps) systems and processes to ensure secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts.
