In this challenging role, you will oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. As a project engineer, you will collaborate with the project management team to drive and coordinate various processes ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Develop working knowledge of project scope and regularly consult with field operations, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Closely monitor project requirements daily, make adjustments to the project schedule as needed, analyze specifications, and track contract pay items.
  • Update the project schedule with input from Field Operations per the contract specifications.
  • Compile subcontractors' bids and estimates and distribute contract documents for management input.
  • Collaborate directly under the Project Management team to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee and ensure Safety Policies are followed at all times.
  • Assist the Project Manager with project setup and closeout activities.
  • Process and track all Submittals & RFIs (including logs).
  • Create and maintain the Project CPM Schedule with logic input from Project Management and Field Operations.
  • Attend Weekly Progress Meetings and maintain minutes when necessary.
  • Coordinate with Survey regarding project issues requiring survey involvement or RFI requests.
  • Evaluate that contract drawings are correctly conformed to EOR revisions, RFIs, and CSI modifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with construction project management applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented office and field environment.
