The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring all our products meet Australian regulatory and compliance requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and performance of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all products comply with Australian regulatory and product safety requirements through testing and certification programs.
- Liaise with international and local testing laboratories to organize and oversee third-party testing.
- Prepare and submit new product approval certification and registration submissions, as well as renew existing certifications and registrations.
- Review new products for creation of product labels and safe use instructions, as required by standards.
- Conduct in-house testing and coordinate third-party testing to ensure performance and safety requirements are met.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of in-house electrical safety testing systems.
- A strong background in electrical product testing, coupled with qualifications in electrical engineering.
- Previous experience working with electrical household and lighting equipment for product labeling and instruction manual creation.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Effective organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and ensure deadlines are met.
- Proven problem-solving skills, investigating issues and resolving them appropriately.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret reports.
- A high level of competency in all Microsoft Office packages.
