Job Description

The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operational excellence of a retail environment. This includes ensuring seamless stock flow, efficient operations, and a positive customer experience.

  • Responsible for all back-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient support function.
  • Lead the team to deliver store operational excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities.
  • Partner with retail management and visual merchandising to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage daily financial operations including reconciliation, banking procedures, and secure cash handling in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide training and development for the team on operational excellence.
  • Maintain a well-organised stockroom adhering to established standards.
  • Identify opportunities for further operational efficiency via process improvements.
  • Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a stockroom or warehouse management role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of WHS procedures and practices.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for stock management and reporting.
