Maintenance Coordinator Job
Job Description:The role of Maintenance Coordinator is a pivotal position within the organization. This individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Develop, manage, and optimize preventive maintenance plans for all equipment using the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Coordination of Maintenance Activities: Facilitate execution of maintenance work by coordinating technicians, contractors, and required materials/tools.
- Equipment Performance & Reliability: Monitor and track asset performance metrics, such as Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), to identify areas for improvement.
- Degree in Maintenance Planning, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance coordination, planning, or supervisory role in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment.
- Strong understanding of CMMS and proficient in maintenance planning, job scoping, and resource allocation.
