Disability Support Worker

Support individuals with disabilities to live independently, participate in community activities and achieve their goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide personal care assistance including toileting, showering, feeding and dressing as required
    • Assist customers with daily living tasks such as cooking, domestic and social skills
    • Mentor and coach independent living skills
    • Administer medication according to individual support plans
    • Complete accurate handover notes and incident reports
  • Requirements:
    • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
    • First Aid Certificate HLTAID003
    • Up-to-date Covid Vaccinations
    • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for transportation of customers
    • Ability to work short shifts of 2-5 hours, including mornings, afternoons and occasional weekend shifts
