As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and coordinate the monthly rolling forecasts and annual budget process by incorporating operational insights into financial projections.
  • Prepare timely month-end reporting including KPI and scorecard reporting for delivery at monthly business unit review meetings.
  • Review margins and identify trends, including any cost variances.
  • Analyse individual development projects and tender submissions.
  • Support the finance team in managing external parties, including insurance, banking, audit, and taxation.
  • Manage insurance claims and assist with the annual renewal process.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial models, reporting processes, and systems to ensure best practice.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in management reporting (minimum 3 years) is required.
  • CA/CPA qualifications are desirable but not necessary.
  • You must be proactive with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as well as teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record management skills are also required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems are highly valued.
  • The ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders is crucial.
  • Candidates with knowledge of the residential building sector, construction, project accounting, or property development sectors are encouraged to apply.
