Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled retail operations expert to oversee store performance, inventory management, customer satisfaction, compliance, and team leadership across various supermarket departments.

  • Store Performance: Monitor and maintain store appearance, stock levels, and operational efficiency to ensure product availability, minimise waste, and meet customer expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the right balance of products across all store sections to meet customer demand and maximise profitability.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Lead by example to provide an exceptional customer experience and resolve any customer concerns.
  • Compliance & OH&S: Ensure all staff adhere to health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Systems & Technology: Proficiency in EMC and ABCis systems, as well as Tanda Employment Software for workforce management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in supermarket or grocery retail management.
  • Strong understanding of stock control, pricing, and supplier negotiations.
  • Knowledge of EMC, ABCis, and Tanda Employment Software.
  • Experience managing store budgets and financial targets.
  • A leader with excellent team management and training skills.
  • Strong understanding of supermarket policies, OH&S regulations, and compliance requirements.
