Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Psychologist/Specialist Psychologist to join our team in Community Corrections. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct psychological assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services to offenders within community locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation to staff within custodial and community locations regarding the management of offenders, as well as to provide advice to statutory authorities.
- Prepare reports, advice, and consultations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for offenders.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for offender management.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to offenders.
Requirements:
- Minimum four year accredited qualification in psychology with current provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
- Post-graduate degree at the masters level or higher in a relevant specialist area (for Specialist Psychologist role).
