Spiritual Support Role

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to provide spiritual care and emotional support to individuals in need. You will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents, families, and staff within a collaborative team environment.

As a skilled practitioner, you will be responsible for offering regular support to residents, as well as during significant events and life transitions. Your approach will involve working with a multidisciplinary team to assess and review the spiritual needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing spiritual care support to residents according to established priorities
  • Offering spiritual care support to family members and staff as required
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Required Qualifications

We are seeking a professional practitioner who possesses:

  • A tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, or a similar field
  • Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience working in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or community care
  • Skills in preparation, creation, leadership, and facilitation of meaningful rituals
  • Eligibility for certification
