St John's RC Academy is a large all-through school providing education for over eleven hundred children and young people from nursery to S6. The school is part of the North Inch Community Campus, which offers a range of services for all ages.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to deliver universal and targeted support for our young people and their families. They will enable students to excel within school, achieve their best, and transition to positive destinations.

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to obtain RC approval from the Catholic Church Authorities. A Catholic Teaching Certificate (CTC) is highly desirable for this promoted teaching post.

Responsibilities

The Depute Head Teacher will be an excellent leader, with a track record of forming and developing excellent relationships and collaborative working practices with pupils, parents, and staff. They will be data literate, able to gather and analyse complex data, and communicate how this can improve the school.
