The Opportunity

We're seeking a Business Advisory Senior Accountant to provide outstanding services to local and international clients across various industries. As part of our fast-growing business, you'll be a crucial contributor to building our future and advancing your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary, and loan summaries for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
  • Collaboration with senior business services accountants as part of a high-performing team
  • Delegation and review of junior work
  • Utilization of MYOB suite, Xero, Class Super
  • Liaising with clients and external service providers
  • Continuous development through Forvis Mazars' U Learn platform
Your Background

We're looking for an experienced accountant with approximately 5-8 years of experience in business advisory or services within an Australian accounting firm. Essential requirements include:

  • Experience working with mid-to-large-size clients
  • Completed Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent)
  • Chartered Accountants Program (or similar) or near completion
  • Proven ability to review junior work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in delegating and reviewing junior work
