About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at WSP Global Inc. as a key member of our Property and Buildings team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical design expertise on mid to top-tier multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Deliver best practices and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
  • Lead engineering design, project coordination, and management.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and project teams.
  • Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
  • Build solid client relationships and represent the business in local and regional markets.

About You:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Expertise in mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, ventilation).
  • Knowledge of building services disciplines (Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, Environmentally Sustainable Design).
  • Proven project experience in building services across various sectors.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards, with registration (or eligibility) in the professional engineer register.
