Senior Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead our clinical pharmacy services in medical specialty areas. This role requires expertise in providing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services, including monitoring patient medication profiles, providing drug information, and teaching and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of pharmacists to ensure optimal clinical pharmacy service is provided to medical specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage a team of pharmacists to ensure optimal clinical pharmacy service provided to medical specialty areas.
  • To develop and provide training to team members.
  • To promote safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy by providing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services.
  • To practice as a Senior Pharmacist and ensure practice is in accordance with relevant registration standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • A valid working visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency.
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia as a pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in pharmacy or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in clinical pharmacy practice, including leadership and management roles.
