About the role

Amcal Bayswater Drive-In Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Bayswater, WA. This is a part time/full-time opportunity to play a key role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with their pharmacy needs, with the sale of OTC (S2/S3) medications and product advice and recommendations
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-stocked pharmacy environment
  • Processing payments and handling cash and electronic transactions
  • Providing administrative support, such as data entry, filing, inventory management, merchandising and implementing planograms according to promotions.
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service role, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing quality care to our customers
  • Our trading hours include weekends, position will or may include some weekend shifts.
