About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and emergency incidents, providing support to our firefighters and emergency responders.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular training and drills, ensuring your safety and effectiveness on the fire ground.
  • Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station.
