Job Overview

This sales role requires a strong background in gas and welding equipment, with the ability to engage customers both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

As a sales representative, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of key customers and expanding market share through account management, business development, and technical sales.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Engaging with clients through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to provide technical support and recommendations
  • Conducting live demonstrations and training sessions for distributors and end-users to showcase products and services
  • Providing expert advice on gas and welding equipment solutions to meet customer needs
  • Implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the gas industry, welding, cutting equipment, or industrial sales
  • Strong technical knowledge in gas, gas-cutting, and welding equipment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with customers
  • A self-starter mentality with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • A trade background or technical knowledge of gas, welding, heating, and specialty gas products is highly desirable
