Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Built Environment Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support on building projects, working closely with principals, school communities, and external consultants.
  • They will be responsible for managing project consultancy and team coordination for school capital works and facilities management.
  • The role requires building effective relationships with stakeholders to facilitate project delivery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
  • The Built Environment Professional will also support schools in developing and reviewing five-year maintenance plans.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in project management and contract administration is essential.
  • The successful candidate must have current knowledge of construction industry developments and statutory provisions and regulations.
  • The role requires the ability to lead a variety of projects to meet operational outcomes, as well as analytical skills to approach problem solving.
  • High-level reviews and investigations linked to organisational performance are also a key aspect of the role.
  • PREFERRED tertiary qualifications in construction management or a related field.
