Casual Pool Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our Casual Pool team at YMCA Ballarat. As a Casual Pool Educator, you will have the opportunity to work in various kindergarten settings, supporting the development of young children and fostering a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities- Create engaging learning experiences that nurture children's curiosity and development
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families to foster a warm and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with a passionate team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care
- Maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) guidelines
- Educators: A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards it)
- Teacher: VIT registration as an ECT
- A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and VEYLDF frameworks
- The ability to create and deliver engaging, child-centred learning activities
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them)
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work with different age groups in various settings
