Emergency Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department of Hornsby Hospital.

The successful applicant will have recent acute care experience, with a minimum of 12 months registered nurse experience in emergency or critical care. They will also possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as current clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practice and contribute to the development of the department
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing practice and patient care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated recent Acute Care experience with a minimum of 12 months Registered Nurse experience
  • Experience in Emergency or Critical Care
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving ability
