About the Role:

The Communications Group is responsible for answering emergency calls from the public.

As a team leader, you will lead and manage a team of communications operators within the beenleigh police communications centre.

During a probationary period, you will participate in the communications operator training program.

Maintain consistent service levels through effective resource scheduling, leave management, and staff performance reviews.

Identify and provide training and development needs and guidance to staff members as required.

Provide high-quality advice, guidance, and information on service delivery, policy, and procedures to team members.

Work collaboratively with relevant staff to ensure high-quality programs, systems, and processes that provide effective customer service.

Manage daily operations of the communications centre as designated by communications supervisors.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage a communications centre team to ensure high-quality customer service and effective issue resolution.
  • Maintain consistent service levels through effective resource scheduling, leave management, and staff performance reviews.
  • Identify and provide training and development needs and guidance to staff members as required.
