This position presents an opportunity to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care as a skilled Enrolled Nurse in an urgent care setting. The role requires close collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN) to provide exceptional support and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:- Collaborate with RNs to deliver comprehensive patient care, addressing injuries or illnesses with professionalism and compassion.
- Carry out various care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education to enhance overall well-being.
- Perform diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition under the guidance of the RN.
- Support with patient services such as greeting patients, monitoring appointment schedules, and updating registration details as required.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Desirable experience in primary care settings, focusing on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Organized and efficient with ability to multitask.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
