The role of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a senior-level clinical leader responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in a clinical unit.
This leadership position requires a Registered Nurse with advanced skills and experience in managing clinical services, ensuring compliance with national and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and direct the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care, incorporating evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, while fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and well-being, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- CURRENT REGISTRATION AS A REGISTERED NURSE WITH THE AUSTRALIAN HEALTH PRACTITIONER REGULATION AGENCY (AHPRA).
- PREFERABLE: relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Total remuneration package up to $164,212 per annum.
- Competitive hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
