Brisbane Insurance Lawyer Associate 2+ Year Commercial Law Expert

As a skilled and ambitious associate level lawyer, we are seeking an individual to join our insurance law practice in Brisbane.
The team focuses on insurance liability matters on both the coverage and defence side. Our clients comprise construction professionals, D&C contractors, engineers, architects, accountants, valuers, IT professionals, barristers, and other experts.
As an associate lawyer, you will be heavily involved in all aspects of cases, allowing you to make a substantial contribution to their outcome. This role will enable you to continue developing your professional and personal brand.
- General Professional Indemnity: Defending claims against professionals, including accountants, valuers, IT professionals, barristers, and engineers.
- Construction Professional Indemnity: Defence of construction professionals, including D&C contractors, engineers, and architects in multimillion-dollar, multi-party litigation.
- Coverage: Advising on coverage and monitoring of claims for construction professionals, D&C contractors, and various professionals for Australian and London-based underwriters.
You will work closely with the Partner and senior lawyers in the team, ensuring your ongoing learning and professional development. We require someone with a strong commercial litigation background, academic credentials, self-driven nature, excellent verbal and written communications skills, time management skills, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
