Senior Vetting Specialist

This is a senior role within the information security team, focused on conducting thorough vetting processes to ensure the integrity of sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal security clearance and extensive experience in government or high-security environments.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional attention to detail, quality assurance skills, and the ability to manage complex vetting cases.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing components of clearance cases, leveraging your experience in vetting with attention to detail and ability to manage a complex process.
Key Responsibilities- Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to protective security policy frameworks and industry best practices.
- Leverage electronic case management systems for efficient clearance processing.
- Offer advice on clearance outcomes while adeptly handling complex vetting cases and sensitivities.
- Attention to Detail: Scrutinize extensive data and identify potential security risks.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
- Time Management: Meet milestones and service level agreements with close attention to competing demands on time.
- A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
- Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
- Extensive vetting experience in government or similar high-security environments.
