Travel Content Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated travel content specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO/AEO best practice, data analysis, and content creation.

You will be responsible for writing, editing, optimising, and producing innovative travel content that inspires audiences and meets objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualise, create, and edit engaging travel content for various platforms.
  • Work closely with the Managing Editor to understand objectives and guide content development.
  • Help deliver on the multichannel content strategy, aligning with brand values and consumer needs.
  • Track search trends and data using tools like SEMRush to improve content and business outcomes.
  • Optimise content for SEO/AEO best practice and user experience on all channels.
  • Regularly monitor performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a digital producer working directly in a CMS and across social platforms.
  • Relevant tertiary degree.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO, Adobe/Google Analytics, and CMS.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and subbing skills.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
