About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and confident Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. As a critical member of the team, your role will be to transform the finance function into a true business partner supporting the company's strategic goals and mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the current state of the finance function and enhance its delivery and reputation.
  • Lead finance transformation efforts to align with broader organisational changes.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to an active board of directors.
  • Strengthen treasury management both operationally and strategically.
  • Adapt to evolving funding regimes and implement necessary internal changes.
  • Support corporate development initiatives, including due diligence, financial modelling, and integration.
  • Drive long-term planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Stay abreast of legislative and compliance changes to ensure ongoing adherence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A proven track record as a strategic finance leader at the CFO level, with experience working with an active board.
  • Industry experience in aged care is a priority requirement of the board.
  • Demonstrated success in leading both financial and cultural transformations.
  • A strategic mindset capable of addressing current challenges and anticipating future ones.
  • Strong executive presence that instils confidence across the organisation.
  • A values-driven leadership style that aligns with the mission of the organisation.
  • A collaborative approach that fosters a community-oriented finance function, free from ego.
