About the Role

RSM Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Tax Analyst to join our team of experts. As a Senior Employment Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping employers meet their Australian employment tax and entitlement obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with employment tax matters, including Superannuation Guarantee (SG), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Pay-As-You-Go-Withholding (PAYG W), Payroll Tax (PRT), Workers Compensation, and broader Wage Compliance.
  • Develop and implement tax technology solutions to improve client outcomes.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and prepare submissions to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
  • Provide advice on Australian tax obligations for employers setting up in Australia.
  • Review and prepare FBT returns and draft FBT advice for clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a professional services firm in a similar discipline.
  • Passionate about learning and developing innovative solutions for clients using technology.
  • Collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Data visualisation, cleaning, and manipulation skills are advantageous.
