Salary

The estimated annual salary for this Technical Expertise Specialist position is around $95,000-$110,000 AUD based on industry standards and location. On top of this competitive salary, employees enjoy a range of benefits including 4 weeks annual leave plus up to 2 weeks additional purchased Lifestyle Leave, Novated Leasing opportunities, and Two paid volunteer days annually

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Expertise Specialist, specialising in PIAWE (Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings) calculations and determinations. In this role, you will advise and provide technical support in the calculation and determination of wage and compensation decisions, engage with internal and external stakeholders, coach and mentor case management personnel, and participate in key business projects and initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience in technical or case management roles within a workers' compensation setting, with demonstrated experience in the calculation of wages or PIAWE decisions. You should also possess exceptional time management and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, highly developed communication skills, a strategic mindset and approach to work, and a strong sense of team and collaboration. Additionally, you should have a resilient attitude and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
