Job Title: Data Validation Specialist

 

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled data validation specialist to contribute to our organization's success. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in software or ETL testing, preferably within banking, finance, or other data-intensive environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and verify data integration processes, transformations, and end-to-end data flows.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for ETL processes.
  • Review and produce detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks across multiple sources and targets.
  • Identify and automate repetitive or manual test cases where applicable.
  • Review requirements, design documents, and data models, providing feedback to stakeholders on completeness, correctness, traceability, and testability.
  • Develop reusable test assets for use in Unit Testing, System Testing, Data Testing, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Verification Testing (PVT).
  • Use exploratory testing to enhance overall testing capabilities.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in software or ETL testing.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex data flows and performing reconciliation.
  • Ability to validate critical business reports.
