About the Role:




  • Paint and coat various steel and fabricated items to meet high-quality standards and withstand environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Surface Preparation: Sand, clean, and grind surfaces before painting to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Painting Application: Use spray guns, brushes, or rollers to apply paint evenly and meet production deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Verify that each painted item meets the required quality standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and the workshop area, reporting any required repairs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety policies and use personal protective equipment as needed.


Requirements:




  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with industrial painting techniques, safety protocols, and mechanical equipment.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient in hand and power tools with an understanding of maintenance and workshop protocols.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in every aspect of the painting process.
  • Licenses: A valid car license is required, with a forklift or crane license highly regarded.
