Clearance brokers play a vital role in facilitating the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes. Their expertise enables our customers to expand their global reach by ensuring efficient clearance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end customs clearance for import and export shipments, maintaining strict adherence to local and international regulations
  • Customs documentation review, accurate classification of goods according to customs regulations, and duty rate determination with consideration to tax liabilities
  • Effective resolution of customs-related issues through excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and proactively resolving clearance issues
  • Collaboration with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to achieve timely clearance
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in Customs with a strong background in trade compliance
  • Secondary education or equivalent, preferably complemented by relevant certifications
  • Deep understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance best practices
  • Proficiency in customs clearance software and online customs portal, as well as Microsoft Office and PC applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational strengths
